By accessing and using Khan Invoice ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Khan Invoice provides an online invoice management platform specifically designed for Nigerian businesses. The Service includes features for creating invoices, managing customers, calculating VAT and WHT, generating PDFs, and tracking payments.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations
  • Ensure all invoice information is accurate and truthful
  • Not use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purposes
  • Comply with Nigerian tax laws, including proper VAT and WHT reporting

4. Tax Compliance

While Khan Invoice provides tools to help calculate VAT and Withholding Tax according to Nigerian tax laws, you remain solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the accuracy of all tax calculations
  • Filing appropriate tax returns with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)
  • Remitting collected taxes to the appropriate authorities
  • Maintaining proper tax records as required by Nigerian law
  • Consulting with qualified tax professionals as needed

5. Data Ownership and Use

You retain all rights to the data you input into the Service. By using Khan Invoice, you grant us permission to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not sell or share your data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Khan Invoice and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss of data or business information
  • Tax calculation errors or omissions
  • Financial losses due to system downtime
  • Penalties from tax authorities
  • Disputes with customers or vendors

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Khan Invoice and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
